Seems mrs_oab and I have picked a classic few days to hire a camper with storm Babet due....
We've got to return the van to Elgin on Saturday first thing.
We had thought of being at Findhorn beach/community site, but the wind on Friday night is due in from South East.
Anyone able to suggest a more sheltered site for Friday?
We stayed here a few years ago. Was a nice wee site, didn't see inside the facilities though as it was COVID times, so everything was closed.

In that wind direction, you should find a bit of shelter from the trees that line the edge of the motorhome section of the Lochloy 'holiday park' in Nairn. Nairn East Beach is awesome (my local), that campsite....so so for a big static home site......which is not put up a particularly high bar!
I've parked overnight at Culbin. It would work well for you. I'm sure there are "No Overnight Parking" signs but I guess the arrive late/leave early approach might work.
As an alternative, how about Foyers?

Culbin would be my choice of those two. Roseisle is a pay jobbie (and you obviously can't pay for overnight, which feels a bit more in your face ignore of rules) and gets a little bit of Friday night 'youth action'.
