[Closed] STWtripadvisor: recommend me a hotel in Rome

C'mon... some of you must have first-hand experience of the Eternal City?

I'm not sure that I would describe it as funky but its deffo small and smart. Very good location, can walk to all attractions and has a nice roof terrace. Highly recommended

We stayed at the HOTEL RAFAEL ..
Paid a bit more for a top floor room with a terrace but got a good deal by booking well in advance. Great location as you can walk to most places BUT dont expect anything to be cheap in Rome ....
And you certainly dont need a car 😉

stayed here last year - its about 10-15 min walk from Vatical and in quite an ok area

think it was about 270 europes for 3 nights in June...clean, small. no hot breakfast but they bring coffee and bread to your room. Every room has a terrace

friendly staff and they go the extra bit to make your stay good - they sorted me out a sim card for an iphone4 so it was there when I arrived...made sure we knew which buses to get...in general, they looked after us well

We had 4 days here> http://www.hotelbailey.com/ Baileys Hotel was a nice hotel, not too expensive[cant remember how much] dont do evening meals but nice restaurant up the road.
Easy walking into central Rome, just up the road from the railway station, easy to get to from Airport.
