Keep reposting something in the classifieds that you know won't sell. A few do it, but far less than those who do/have the things you mention. 🙂

duntstick, both ticked, d45yth, yup, fasthaggis, making beer and bread, very soon, and my folks have a nackered 4x4, I have a newish L200. Fitting in quite well then.

Selvedge jeans? Quality, wrist-worn timepiece? Log splitting maul? Mountain bike you don't ride much (or ride too much)? Merino layers?

with the exception of the car I drive I fit so many of these stereotypes, IT, 30something, MTB and road bike and even cargo bike for extra niche points, we have a woodburner and I'm building up woodstores, lack of shaving, wife makes bread, I drink whisky, kids, I even go out riding on the legendary MNPR, play in a band...

Is there a female version of the STW stereotype? I definitely don't fit the male one! 🙂

Isn't just riding a mountain bike now so atypical on here that it has, in its own right, become niche?

Wow so a few years ago I was almost STW niche - ss MTB bike(s), beard (in winter), worked in IT, whisky drinker...

but now according to IHN I'm anti-niche 8) particularly as I've no beard yet (been too warm this winter)
