My tenants have just told me they're off. Last time I used a company called iigloo to market the place on the web (I do everything else myself) but they've been bought by Rentify and their price has gone up 10x. Any recent experience of other companies out there?

Edit - nice 3 bed semi in Guildford if anyone's looking 😉

I use lettingaproperty
Simple to use
gets the house up on all relevant sites etc etc
I use the basic/next basic package based on how long I want the advert for.

Always found our tenants via Gumtree. There's a few undesireable applicants but plenty of suitable ones.

Well FWIW I've gone with OpenRent - 49 quid to advertise until let including referencing, or 29 quid for just the ads. Will post an update once I've been through the whole thing.

Gumtree. When you assess prospective tenants go and see them in their current property.
That will tell you if they care about the house. If it's a bloody mess they won't care about your place. Not the kind of tenants you want.
This will save you a load of trouble later on.
Don't dismiss NHS and pets either. They struggle to find property so you will get a quicker let.
