guys you sorted me out monday getting wifi around the house.
now mobile phones, been with 3 for 10yrs + with 2 contracts which have worked well till now even with the simple of using when abroad ,now jacking prices to high ie double the bill with only a hotspot thrown in.
what would i look for sim only 600min 600 txt and some data always find wifi to use.
would like both on same bill even using the same allowance if possible just to keep it simple
not looked into it befor as my total bill for both was £15 now they want £25 each
any ideas

Can't you stay on your current plans?

Everywhere is getting expensive and knowing how rubbish O2 are for signal, Three blow them away every time.

Hi Showerman, that doesn't look right to me, here's a link to their prices
http://store.three.co.uk/mobile/view/searchTariff?deviceType=SIM_ONLY&priceplan=PAY_MONTHLY&site=m
4gb of data, 600 minutes, unlimited texts for £16 a month if you sign for 12 months or £19 for a rolling contract. This looks to be the best deal. Or if you only need 1gb it drops to £11 a month for a 12 month deal.

have put a complain in on what ever form they sent me but not come back yet. i have no idea what they are up to regarding prices as mitsumoney is pointing out they are offering better deals. there off shore call centre is next to useless. have spoken to a nice guy in the 3 store who gave me some good advice just want to speak to someone to sort it not sell me something which is what the call center is doing.

Phone 3 and haggle

Just throw a few of the other deals out there at them, they will soon drop the prices/throw in a new phone as its better to retain a existing customer than get a new one.

On O2 here.
Absolutely pants.
Rubbish.
Avoid.

Had mine & the Wifes phones (& few mates) through moneysupermarket.
Mobiles.co.UK IIRC.
The phone companies themselves couldn't get near them on price.
Every order, phone arrived next day.
Non branded phones also, with SIM in the package.
Will 100% use again.

Alternatively, I've been on O2 for years, and I don't have any issues with coverage locally, whereas 3 is bloody hopeless, as I had a 3 SIM in a backup phone, and around where I live there was virtually no decent signal. And this isn't some backwater part of the country, this is a large market town in North Wiltshire, with a major trunk route from the M4 to the south coast nearby, and most North-South/East-West transport routes going through the town and not far from where I live.
Location, location, location.

You can get the pay monthly deals in the 3 stores. They should look after you.

No they don't. They've made an agreed bid, but the deal is probably a year away and still subject to various regulators agreeing.
