A week ago I lost the front wheel on woodwork at speed and hit the deck quitee hard breaking my full face helmet....thank god i had it on. anway later in the evening my knee started to hurt and i couldnt put any weight on it. i can walk (hobble) but walking up steps and ramps is difficult and occasionally it feels af if there is no muscle strength and my knee just collapses.

i have no brusing or swelling...will go to the hospital tomorrow but ideas to what it can be?

Could be muscle, nerve, ligament, meniscus, bone, tendon or any combination of them all.

My money is on a sore knee.

Yeah that's often how it works with certain injuries and illnesses.

Collapsey knees are usually ligament injuries.

Thts what I have been doin the past week with no improvement, my job is an MTB guide and I am unable to ride my nike..

The pharmacist is better at diagnosing than our local doctor, and here there are no walk in centre'sas such so its long queues tomorrow at SAn Remo pronto soccorso, I have been there 5 times this year and this will be the first for my own injury!!
