...a long held arty idea.
Well I need 3 more, since the first 2 are picked. Please add your nominations below. Anything iconic, town bikes, racers, MTB. Cheers!
what's picked?
Pace RC100
Muddy Fox courier
GT LTS
That's all I can think of atm.
This Thread is no good without pictures.
😉
Pics of said bikes, please.
Edit:
Cruisers are nice.
Don't leave out cruisers.
I've picked a burner and a soul/BFe should have made that clear in the OP.
Thanks for suggestions so far
WooHooo !.
I had that Raleigh Burner, the tough burner with plastic Skyway wheels.
Ah, memories.
🙂
Brompton
Chopper
Moulton
Dutch roadster
I thought about the on-one, it was between that and the 5. They both are some what iconic as what Brits want from a bike at different ends of the perspective.
There we go, didn't take long. 😉
Checkin out the colour coded, one piece bar and stem on that Klein.
I don't know, not sure about that.
Turn you nose up at the Klein all you like! Its a million times better than that poxy Krik that was posted up and a true classic.
And as misty eyed as folks get about Raleigh Burners, its no Kuwahara or Mongoose or PK Ripper.
A true classic IMO is Tomoac's disc wheel drop bar Yeti

Mission control stem bar combo was one of the Klein signature features

I'd say it's far more iconic to the average Brit than any of those.
I'd choose:
* Penny farthing

* Chopper

* A butcher's bike:

... and then a BMX or a mountain bike, and a road bike. But not sure which models.
