No, this is not about what's permissable on the iDave diet..

Anyone else have to delete the STW cookies every time there's a crash? I'm on Chrome.

No...but are you getting a logged in status on the homepage but logged out on the forums ?

No.. it just says logged out, then I log in fine and I am still logged out.

Just delete the cookie and it's ok.

I found chrome frequently buggy and although fast dont use it anymore. Not that helps you 🙁

Nope

Every PC I access STW with runs Chrome and I've never seen this problem.

Yeah that sounds about right. Had it for a while using chrome on my macbook but hadn't associated it with the site outages (is that what you mean by crash?). Works fine on chrome on my windows laptop v10.0.648.133.

Edit - IIRC the version on my macbook was a beta version and had a bug where the cache wouldn't clear. I had assumed this issue was due to chrome caching an old password.
