I’ve recently bought this “bin tipper truck” for my grandson. The vendor neglected to tell us that there’s a bit missing, the bit that clips on the back to hold the other end of the tipping mechanism. Before I spend hours cutting and shaping a bit of nylon chopping board, is this the sort of thing that could be created by a printer? It has two delicate tangs that locate it in place so it can be removed to replicate - it’s Playmobil if that makes any difference.IMG_2433IMG_2434IMG_2435

Sure that could be printed easily but you'll need to draw it in freecad or something. Tbh I'd suggest looking around to see if you can't just find it as a replacement part unless you fancy learning some cad.

I was hoping someone would offer to do it for me, I know my limits… mostly!

I can model that for you.

Either post the part or measure and send me a paper drawing.

That’s very kind, I don’t expect it for nothing! Direct message me your address and I can post it.

STW at it’s best!

There is a Playmobil spare parts site, where you can possibly buy the bit for a surprisingly small cost...

@paule Thank you for that, we’ve tried that but with no success!
