I've bought a new thermostatic shower. It is sold as one to be sunk into the wall with a large round shroud plate to push on after tilling. There is a separate outlet to be installed in the wall to attach the flexible shower hose to with a 1/2" BSP thread. Obviously this needs to be connected to the output of the mixer valve and any pipe work chased in. HOWEVER the output from the mixer valve is for a riser / flexible shower hose (i.e. it does not take a 15 mm pie inside and have the necessary seating for the olive of a compression fitting) so I guess that I need some sort of converter from 15 mm shower hose / riser connection to 15mm compression fitting for my pipe work. Does one exist. I can't find one.

tldr:

I don't think so. The separate wall outlet has the BSP thread, the mixer tap thread has the same thread as a normal 15mm compression fitting (I think that is different to the tap thread but I may be wrong...) Its an idea though, I've got a spare one I somewhere I think.
