Are people about a thousand times more stupid/lazy/unimaginative nowadays than before internet forums?

Recently I have seen asked "should I wear baggys over lycra", numerous "show me pics of ____ colour bikes with _____" colour rims/forks/cranks/seat collars".....and today...

"Show me pics of inner tubes used as chainstay protectors"

I mean.....WTF?

Anyone else depressingly gobsmacked?

Indeed, I may now start a combined "BS/stupid Q of the week" thread.

Seriously though...Shirley even people who are ap incredibly tolerant and relaxed as you can see my point?

I think some people can't stand the lack of activity (or sometimes attention)

TBF, even stw HQ themselves probably like the high post numbers, regardless of "quality" unless things become offensive

and the show me a red bike with blue rims is, I suppose, slightly useful even if it stops only ONE fashion crime in terms of colorway*

(* yes, I know)

I was wondering the same thing myself this morning... I don't wish to single anyone out but the answer is 'yes'.

People were always stupid.
The internet is now a place where the stupid people can make their stupidity public.
Have you seen Youtube comments?
