There was a BB2 italian detective show that I liked called Zen a few years ago, never got a second series. Bit strange that the lead role didn't even attempt an accent, but had some genuine italian co-stars.

I think all the stuff like Blue Thunder, Airwolf, McGyver would look really dated now.

The Littlest Hobo.

I believe it was shot on video tape that has now degraded and may be lost forever.

How about
Coupling
Joking Apart
Tales of the Golden Monkey
BJ and the Bear.

"Now get out of that" on BBC

group of people given tasks to do vagly based tasks based on a militry style operation. EG find the scientist and extract him to point x etc it was the forerunner to all the reality rubbish today i suppose but with normal people in the wilds solving problems.

Salvage One

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvage_1

only because NOBODY ELSE remembers it, and mates my age seem to think I'm smoking something when I describe it.

Black Books

on 4OD as a "boxset" I think.

+1 for Battle of the Planets and Tripods, and I'll throw in Ulysses 31 (using Greek mythology for the storylines).

I used to like Coupling, but then they morphed it into a 'cold feet' clone and the fake Welsh guy left and was replaced by a real one and it was crap - I'm glad it died.

An episode of The Great Egg Race

I'll admit, there's a hell of a lot more beige, brown and dullness than I remember!
