So I needed a telly for the rugby next weekend, got a few people round and we're having a BBQ

Picked up a 50" plasma screen for £50 ( was £10000 10 years ago )

Okay so it's not HD and the picture isn't brilliant but £50!! And there was a choice on Gumtree

So what else is a top bargain?

Perfect for Beg/Int. Super easy ride and fun to ride. One of my fav boards ever and I've tried a squllion.

I've been buying gear for my Isle of Skye trip and so far, the best of the bunch is a £35 (reduced from £70) Craghoppers Compresslite jacket I bought in Millets.

The local buy/sell Facebook pages and jumble sales are a great source of bargainage around here.

Our best buys so far are a massive hard shell roof box and roof bars for £20 and a collection of THREE flatbed scanners for £3.

Missus is a demon on eBay too - she recently got a £225 Hobbs coat (brand new with tags) for £28 delivered.

I got one of those Scalextric Lancias - very gold and very 80s. Goes like S-off-a-Shovel and gives my daughter's BMW Mini a run for its money. Also more satisfying as the Mini will get around most bends at about 90% throttle.
