My kids get pocket money based on the tidiness of their bedrooms.

It transpires that the seven year old is paying half of her money to the nine year old to tidy the room for her.

We started giving our kids some pocket money for helping or doing some good stuff around the house. Now they ask if they're getting paid to before they commit themselves!!

How very entrepreneurial.

I have an American friend, who by chance is also a financial investor, and has an eight year old and a four year old. The four year old is fascinated by quarters (the American coin) and likes to collect them. The eight year old has been selling him quarters for a dollar a time.

It’s a perfect arbitrage position

My two and a half year old hit himself in the face with a wooden frog. He frowned then picked it up again, dropped it on his head again, sighed like an old timer and said "not again" . Did this whilst I was changing his nappy. I love the random things they do.
