You could always have a read of this?

[img] [/img]

Seriously man, it's got ladies jiggling around with not much on AND Brucie's jokes.
What more do you want?

You don't have to watch it.
Go and frotter yourself against the furniture or something.

I hope Lisa Riley wins. They hired her as the token fatty but she is going for it.

My tastes are for the older lady.

Pendleton really needs to go, she's by far the weakest dancer left in the show.

I'm a fan. I'm even (mostly) enjoying how Bruce is gradually turning into a cross between Corporal Jones and Count Arthur Strong.

I don't mind it, I like the sparkle and dancing but they could make it a half hour programme, Bruce Forsyth is such a doddery old t**t he deserves to be shot, Tess Daley has no personality and the inane shite they talk in between dances drives me crazy!!! i should get one of those digital recorder things and fast forward all the guff in between.

As for X factor that is hell on earth and don't get me started on i'm a celebrity, weekend tv really is in the pits.

Excellent Saturday night family entertainment sadly ruined by the aged "national [s]Treasure[/s] embarrassment and the equally cringe-worth token clothes horse/auto cue dolly. Get rid of both (oh and the flakey and irritating VP this year - oops!) and it would be even better.

10/10 for me. I love it.
It's the only sleb type programme I watch.
Hard work all that dancing, would put many of us mtbers to shame.

Edit: meant 10/10 in the good way.

I love it too. Seeing people's journey from non-dancers to dancers is great. Even Vic, who probably is ready to go now, is superb compared to most of us. For sure she was rotten to start with and has had 10 weeks of intensive tuition from a world class teacher (and by all accounts a #1 top bloke too) but in the right dance for her she is so classy - and from a background where she probably doesn't even have the experience of handbag dancing at the school disco or office Xmas party.

I'm lucky enough to work with an ex-WC standard ballroom dancer (she's also an ex National Champ snowboarder and a pretty decent MTBer too) and she knows the work they all do to get that good. It's similar levels of commitment and endeavour to any world class athlete.

As for Brucie - he is a legend and his dodderiness makes it fun. Wife went last year to filming and it's heavily scripted to run to time, and his writers deliberately play up to that dodderiness - his off camera ad-libs while they're setting up shots and changing the sets are still sharp as ever.

And the ladies - Erin i'm not sure on - at times yeah, at times she has quite a masculine jaw which is off putting. It's Flavia for me - helped by the fact that she used to live 2 roads away, so you'd see her a lot and she smiled at me once (probably because I was with my 2 y.o at the time, and babies / toddlers are great for that). But I like Ola too. And Denise, and Rachel Stevens, and.....

Mrs Labsey loves is. I don't mind it. Can't hack Brucie any more but the women professionals are fit.

Also gives me a chance to play some Footy Manager on the laptop AND spend time with the missus.

Brucie is a LEGEND! WTF he's a stupid senile old idiot that should not be on our TV's!

Aliona is back. If you look closely you may catch a glimpse of her during the show dance in tonights programme.

I must be sad because I think Brucie is part of our Saturday night light entertainment.
Although I do think Terry Wogan would be good as the person that steps into Brucie's shoes when the time comes.

Wogan? Another old fart that should act his age and drop dead :-/
Anton should take over rather than being shouldered with which ever waste of space no-hoper they throw at him each year.
He has matured into a far better presenter than Wogan or Dodderer...

I wonder what you are going to be like at that age - I think he does OK and he has a lot more linkage to shows of that type than someone like Wogan has.

They should use Claudia Winkleman more...

Personally I think it is the judge Bruno that is cringingly awful and needs to go, followed by a clamp on Len's stupidness and the extra 'pantomime' stuff that they have added to the show.

I like Winkleman because she doesn't take herself seriously (unlike the clothes horse), dresses in the most bizarre clothes, and has a unique look/style of her own. The latest outfit looked like she was auditioning for the part of Mrs Oliver Cromwell!!

Relief at this weekend's result.
