Yes I suppose all this is there somewhere but I can't find it and my dummy is very close to the edge of my pram.
As a new comer( signed up) I would like to find the rides that people have "entered" . Are those segmentss, which is what appeared on my map?
That map. How do I stop it opening at Taunton? Now that wouldn't be an issue as thats only across the Severn but this one is across the Atlantic. Can't it open where I left it or at least a UK default?
At the moment I haven't got round to getting one of the GPS's to talk to the pc as it means finding "virtual" USB ports. I have done it but it is a pain.
All I want to do is see what other are up t.

You aren't looking for ways to end your life whilst doing it all for Strava are you?

You login to Strava and hit the Explore option. If you have entered a location in your Profile settings then it basis itself on that (I think, as it does on mine). It then allows you to zoom in/out to see what rides are around and who is killing all comers on them!

Only found it today. Well heard of it but now wonder what it did. I did find that a segment was what I was after but the local stuff is all rather daft. Hills that start part way up or end at a false flat etc. I would assume that I could down load the segment which would tell my GPS the exact start point. After all a couple of metres out might cost me 0.0001 of a nano second.
I haven't told the bloody thing anything and don't think I will.I'll keep the humilation private.
