Evening all. My son has seen Lego stuff on Youtube and wants to have a go. He has the camera set up to take a sequence of JPGs. He wants to comine them into little animations. What's best/easiest to use?
Thanks
I've been thinking about having ago at the same thing!
Mac or PC?
I've been advised that on a mac iMovie is very good for this sort of thing but I haven't really tested it yet.
PC, Windows XP or 7
If it is Windows, I think we used the Windows Movie Maker, which proved easy enough for my 9-year old daughter.
There was something on 'Sunday Brunch' this morning on Ch4 about this. Some guy that works for Aardman plugging the latest home use software they helped develop ( I think ) You'll see it on 4oD (although it's not on there yet,) it was in the last 30 mins of the show iirc.
We use Jellycam at school for animation courses. Super easy to use.

Free and basic but it works.
Edit: Just actually read your post! The above wont work with existing pics but is really easy to set up and use.
My nine year old son uses Ikit Movie software and a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 USB webcam. Makes some crackin' little films.
Lots of monkeyjam tuts on youtube.
Cheers guys, he's had a look at them, and JellyCam got him up and running quickest, but once he gets the hang of it he wants to add effects he might have to try one of the others.
