Someone's Dalai Lama quote the other day got me thinking again. If your mortgage/rent is X, what multiple of X do you need to live and what muliple of X to live comfortably?
There's no such thing as too much X.
Triple X
There's no such thing as too much X.
X actly
personally or as a family unit ? What's considered comfortable ? 2 cars, 2 motorbikes and 4 pushbikes ? holidays ?
Small family unit. Comfortably here means not having to worry about how to pay for things but possibly having to save for larger purchases.
Question doesn't make sense. You could have a very small mortgage or a very large mortgage, having multiplies of either amount doesn't get you to a monthly figure you would need to live on.

Have you seen my X ?
There's very, very few people happy with any particular value of X for long.
After a time X+1 becomes attractive.
When I first got a mortgage, repayments were limited to a third of your take home pay, so 3 time X?
If your mortgage/rent is X, what multiple of X do you need to live and what muliple of X to live comfortably?
Blimey what happened to him wishing heath and happiness? He's got a bit political.
He has realised that a hefty X does not always reconcile well with health and happiness and so seeks a more balanced and enlightened path...
I do hope he's not claiming benefits.
wow - didn't know it worked for X tooAfter a time X+1 becomes attractive.
