For the love of cars is generally - Cockney geezer finds classic car(jam jar / Kareem Abdul Jabar). Takes it to his taller, more knowledgeable mechanic mate, they have friendly disagreements about how to restore the car, whilst teaching the viewer about the cars history, then they fret about selling them for a profit.

Yeah, sorry. Sounds nothing like it.

No but I got one when you denied the obvious similarities between For the love of Wheeler Dealers and Wheeler Classic Car Dealers.

I enjoyed the first series.

I'm a bit disappointed with the featured cars in series 2 though.

On the subject of classic car shows, how annoying is Jodie Kidd on the one with Quentin Wilson?

What are the cars Neil? I can't google due to a sore leg.

I think it's great. I really enjoyed watching it.
Some people, however, if you gave them £20, would complain they wanted two tenners instead.....

The bit that I enjoyed the most was the history of the car and the insight into the culture of the owners. Sure, every restoration show is going to have something about buying and doing the car up, but that is only a small part of the show.

Mike Brewer with his "'old owt yer 'and" fake negotiating, followed by a piece to camera about how he has just stitched up the chump stood next to him, is nothing like this.

Despite all the drama of the last series I still want a Delorean.

More like Ice Road Truckers, but without the ice and the trucks.

There will probably be a road, but it is in Surrey.

It's all staged, scripted rubbish. How dare they let people like that on the television!

I haven't watched it, I just thought that in the spirit of Sunday night Top Gear threads I should wade in with an uninformed opinion.
