Whaddaya readin'? 🙂 I, as I imagine some of us do, find myself with gloriously large amounts of reading time on my hands - want to share what you've read, what you're in, any recommendations for what's next? Just as importantly - what's to avoid?

Just finished - Carrying The Fire, by Michael Collins. Fantastic autobiography of the Apollo 11 astronaut, lengthy but entertaining, accessible and surprisingly funny in places. 5 stars.

Currently on - The Perfect Car, by Nick Skeens. A biography of John Barnard - interesting but not cheap (paid a tenner on Kindle, forty quid for hard back) and pretty disappointing, an unnecessarily fawning tone and I think some innacuracies. There's some interesting stories and if I'd paid a tenner for the hardback I'd be less bothered, but feels like a premium paid for an average product. 2 stars so far.

Next up - The Better Angels Of Our Nature, by Steven Pinkner. Bill Gates's Desert Island Discs read, it's been cluttering the shelves for a year, threatening to explain why the world is getting safer. It's big! But now I've got time to give it a go.

Currently reading Hope and Glory by Stuart Maconie, enjoying it.

Next up is probably Anansi Boys, Neil Gaiman.

And, as I always do on these things, I'll recommend Lonesome Dove. Brilliant.
