It's definitely scientific fact, right?

My first snuffles of the winter have turned up as we move into spring. Heading out for a "kill or cure" ride yesterday seems to have not gone the way I hoped so I was encouraged to stay home alone while the ladies have a long wet day out.

I've found chocolate, Doritos, salsa, the makings of a corned beef toastie for lunch and pasta bake for tea. there's two FA cup games on the telly....

Sounds like you're sorted there.

You might even get 'even though I'm dying I've made pasta bake for tea' points there.

Is this the best football watching excuse you can come up with?

I find a medicinal whisky or two always helps as well.

I've never been so ill that I wanted to watch football. Is a priest coming round to give you the last rights? 😜

I’ve never been so ill that I wanted to watch football.

I'll take football over some of the gaming **** the kids watch on YouTube. I don't like football either.

OP feed away.  Although I'm not sure it has any curative value.

With a cold you're still hungry, a fever will often cause loss of appetite, so it's true in a way but slightly back to front.

Must be a cold, daughters band were awarded a platinum at the National Concert Band finals and I'm quite excited at their plan to pick up a Chinese on the way home to celebrate.
