Chilly this morning so I jumped into this, straight out of the mailbag:

Ordered a pair of these, for (hopefully) waterproofing at 10 - 5dg C:

Nope, my winter kit year is still in the draw...suspect it may start to make an appearance soon (hopefully not all at once). I fear the lights maybe getting unpacked soon...so long summer 🙁

As a resident of the north west of England, I don't need it. During the winter it'll be crackin 't flags, as usual, so I may add another pair of garish Speedo's to my extensive collection, for the commute

Of course I haven't started buying winter kit yet. I'm a man, I'll think about winter kit when my knees turn blue. Then wonder why the stuff I like is already sold out, bought by people who are more organised than I am.

my mw02s are dead after 10 winters ....- the heel box colapsed and the insides of both boots have worn through to the membrane - alas they leak.

im trying to force my self to press the button on a new set of mt91s.....

I have enough winter kit to clothe a family of refugees stuffed in the loft (which I would donate if it wasn't all down based).

I'm glad someone on here is doing something for the less fortunate but maybe let them out for a bit of air every now and then?

Mr Woppit how did you find the top?

I've got a Gore Windstopper being delivered and I think it will be too small, had previously looked at the Shimano one.

This morning wore a 15 yr old 'waterproof' aka sweat bag. Cold at first, then boiling and sweating buckets, then freezing cold from sweat..

Paramo jacket. Endura strike gloves. Same as last few years. And the next 30 probably.

And mine, normally. Had to sell a couple of things, and sweet talked my LBS into using my club discount. It was £135, reduced from £160, and precludes any further new bike bits for the foreseeable.

I kept thinking to myself- look at all the various jackets, jerseys, gilets, etc, that I have kicking around, how many of them do I use, and how much faffing about do I do before going out?

It might all backfire, I'll keep you posted.

Started buying bits and pieces earlier in the Summer.

dhb Active Thermal Long Sleeve Jersey Bought it in black, haven't tried it yet...its still Summer.

Also bought these as my last pair lasted 10 years: 661 Storm Gloves Not good for below freezing, but ok for the general Winter weather we get down here in the shandy drinking softy southern lands. I can put glove liners in them as well.
