So I noticed Carrie Fisher brought her dog along to the Star Wars premier:

And I've noticed more and more famous people are doing similar; at film premiers, prize ceremonies, chat shows and the like~ I'm not sure if this has been going on for a while, or if it's just a recent thing, but it seems to be that more and more dogs are making the big time.
Is it a conspiracy?
