Mate of mine at work got a offer for £50 within 2 minutes of this auction going on eBay. He's wondering why anyone would part with proper money for, what appears to be some old shite. We were wondering if there's something rare in there.

Yes people will pay good money, my star wars figures and ships netted over £600 10 Years ago. I sold some really smashed up Britain's tractors for £60, so smashed up I'd binned them, my wife got them out and said to list them for spares.
Dabbled in the past. Nothing paticularly rare there and most are missing weapons and accessories. £50 might not be a bad offer but could probably get a little more.

Thanks thorpie. £50 was an or best offer, (apparently this buying option was chosen by mistake) but while they were mulling it over, someone put a bid of £5 on which scuppered it. Anyway, it's upto £52 now, with 3 days still to go! 😲

i recently made around £800 selling my star wars stuff, i'd rediscovered sack loads (yup i was spoiled!) in my parents attic. ebay was a nightmare though - endless questions about serial numbers on the back of legs, whether the weapons floated and all sorts of time wasting. figures all seem to go for around £5 if they are complete and in good nick. the whole process took months as well.
i think darth vaders tie fighter went for about £85. £50 quid sounds like a quick and easy deal to me.

Should dig mine out then as I have an intact Darth. Still got the shitty plastic netting bag for Chewie to carry C3PO in, my medicine man ewok has all his gubbins. Probably missing the odd common or garden blaster but other than that they are all intact.

Well if anyone is still interested, it finished at £103! Then he realised that a frog thing that they thought was unrelated was a rarity called Amanaman, (one of Jabba the Hutt's gang) found his weapon and got another £100 for that in its own. 😨
