My pick up appears to have a slow puncture. Thinking of pouring some NoTubes into it to seal it.
Any reasons this might be a bad idea?
Could work.... Good luck with swishing the sealant around the tyre, you need big arms for that I would imagine!
I would think it would be cheaper to get a bottle of tyre sealant from hellfrauds though.
Yes it would work. Porsche for instance use a Stans style solution and a compressor instead of a spare wheel in the Boxster.
However, I'm not sure it's safe over certain speeds. Porsche tell you not to go over 50 with the slop in.
Plenty of car specific versions about, Stan's will pobably not work under those conditions (heat, speed etc) and car stuff is probably cheeper.
Also its non permentant, best get it checked out at a garrage (might be on the sidewall etc).
It shouldn't be much more than a fiver to get the puncture repaired properly, so probably cheaper than the half a bottle of stans you would need.
Oh and it is more likely to work properly.
Fair point. I will try and find somewhere to get it repaired.
