Looking to replace our dated horizontal slated stair banisters with some fairly standard hemlock spindles etc, where is a good place to go to for landing and stair kits?

I've used this supplier in the past with no issues.

Thanks SL - I'm looking for something more budget that I can buy in kit form reusing existing newel and corner posts. Priced it up on one website and came in at about £600

I don't know, but this is my favourite Xtrackworld title to date

I've recently bought some from http://www.shawstairs.com/
Very helpful - the pricing on the website was a bit odd and they did a custom quote for exactly the parts I wanted. I think they've sorted out the pricing now. Hemlock stair refurb kit £77.

Cheers Greybeard - I think they are the ones I priced it up on but had to go "just over" on each run so knowing they do custom should help considerably

Northwind - you need to set your sights higher 😉

Dickyboy, they did a custom package with the exact number of spindles, etc, but I did (for example) have to go to 3.6m long when I only need 3.1m. The advantage is that I will have an offcut to get the stain colour right!

I didn't find anyone offering better value

You could also try these, I've used them in the past. Local to me, but they do deliver.
