Is it just me or has Rajapaksa resigned three times already?

I believe the ruling dictator has fled the country, no doubt taking much of his stolen money with him.

Do we have any care for Sri Lanka ?. given their recent genocide of the Tamil people

There is more than one Rajapaksa

Basically just down to crazy levels of mismanagement?

As I understand it, they rely largely on tourists and import pretty much all raw materials and fuel - 2 years of Covid and then then the recent price increases have decimated them

Mismanagement and corruption may not have helped of course

I won't wish the ills of a few on a whole nation of people.
I agree that the government there are responsible for a lot of the situation, and appalling treatment of people. It is they that should be held responsible.
