Here is an opportunity for UEFA to actually show some balls & throw Lazio out of the competition.

Yup that's taking the tough line on racism.

UEFA Meeting: 'We need to get tough on racism, it's a blight on the game.'
'yes we do'
'We could throw teams out whose fans are guilty of racist abuse'
'Hang on - lets not be to knee jerk. We could fine them, that'd make us more money'
'I like that, let's do that.'

Nah, they have more important things to be doing like banning snoods.

Was it not aimed at Gareth "monkeyboy" Bale?

Hope they do both, ie fine them heavily and throw them out of the competition, Platini was at the game so first hand experience of it now

It's pretty much what you expect from the Lazio ultras. It's the club of Il Duce...

A number of teams have been fined and/or warned about the behaviour of their fans. Time for some strong action and expulsion from the competition.

If the FA are serious about kicking out racism, they should threaten to withdraw the English clubs unless UEFA take action.

Racism? In Italy? Surely not?

UEFA have pussy-footed around this issue for years. I would like them to just go ahead and ban a team but they won't. Absolute minimum should be the rest of the tournament played behind closed doors.
Worst penalty likely to be one game behind closed doors and/or a 5,000 euro fine.

Its never good to see but neither is the cheating or the diving or the faking from the players.
I expect UEFA to take as tough a line as they do on their own corruption and do basically nothing - they may actually talk tough and threaten some stuff but that will be all.
Shameful from the fans and the authorities

Without the controversy of players falling out, ****ing each others wags etc football would be duller than dirty dish-water.
