Spring watch is back to welcome us to Ken hill, Norfolk this Monday 30th May, BBC 2 @ 8.00 pm.
Chris Packham, Michaela Strachen, Iolo Williams and Megan McCubbin all presenting the usual feast of baby robins, creatures, insects and mammals of spring.
No Gillian this season.
Hoorah, bring it on.
Bump, For tonight.
The programme isn't normally shown on a Monday, but the Jubilee and bank holidays have changed this.
Am I the only one watching?
Some of the pieces have been gruesome. A toad eating bug, that eats the poor creatures head from inside. A spider that eats the inside of an ants head and a burying beetle that buries a small mammal, lays its eggs inside creature and the maggots eat the body. Children love these kind of nature films.
I myself prefer the quiet 'mindful' moment:O)
We're in too - they aren't shying away from the gruesome stuff this year. We've also had the badger eating the poo from its cubs before nipping outside to scoff the one it put outside to die, and that chick that lasted for 8 minutes between hatching and being eaten by an owl. It's a tough world out there.
"Brand New Jacket Watch"
I guess they get them from the charity shop 😉
SW is OK but is getting a bit Meh.
The snippets are the best, such the woodlouse and toad being eaten from the inside out etc.
Love the graphs and thigh rubbing 🙂
