Still womble-ing every day.......
Driving past entrance to local riverside beauty spot last night and noticed a big group of young lads emerging empty handed - knew to expect chaos this morning.
They didn't disappoint, disposable BBQ's in the river, litter everywhere (there are still hundreds of McDonald's salt and pepper sachets - I didn't have time) and of course the highlight of any picnic - a trolley in the river
Waded in and got the red mop bucket that's been annoying me for awhile. Trolley left in the graveyard behind Home Bargains, bag left at council bin for collection.
Has anyone every disposed of a disposable BBQ correctly? Photo or it didn't happen!

My northern ex mill town (Rawtenstall) had a Greene King pub with adjacent large children's Charlie Chalk soft play zone.Â
It caught fire (when open with puntors inside). Closed and semi derelict since.
Planning notice just posted with details of a coffee drive thru along with another 2 drive thru's on the site so 3 in total.
The town already has a McDonald's drive thru and Costa. I fill a bag of litter with their crap every day.
I guess I'm going to be doing at least two soon.
I think it's time to move.

Still litter picking every day......
given that its mostly mc ds shit thrown about around our way, how hard would it be to write or print a car reg number on the bag'o'crap that is handed out dont like car reg on bag? well **** off out of the drive through you ****. that or litter pick and return it back to mc ds in a big stinking heap.which after all is exactly how it is sold.
2weeks off litter picking due to Bert's operation yesterday. He had a foreign body granuloma that needed surgically removing.
Was treated at the Liverpool Animal Teaching Hospital who are brilliant!
Will be interesting to see how much litter builds up with us being out of action.

Can Bert receive the full range of satellite TV channels whilst he's recovering? 😉

He was only smiling because he was happy to be out of hospital and on the way home - NOT HAPPY at all to be wearing the cone of shame!
Medipaw boot is worth its weight in discarded Monster cans.

Wishing bert a speedy recovery. 🙂
