Mr Storey punched well above his weight

Hey, lay off him - Barney's a cool guy! Big unit, but bloody strong.

Surprised Hoy as an ex-spoty didn't make it back.

And another one, and he couldn't even be bothered to make a live video link.

I guess that shows quite how it shouldn't be taken very seriously by us, the plebby public as well.

In the Brad camp.

I'd love to see David Weir win too. Ben Ainslie is next in my top three but I could honestly vote for most of the contenders and have a list of other names which would in my opinion in this incredible year deserve a place in SPOTY 2012.

Fromme looked very unimpressed with something...

Look up the definition of personality - it also means famous person.

What, like Adolph Hitler, Pol Pot, Osama Bin Laden, Genghis Khan. That sort of thing?
'Personality' also means 'the visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others'

Which is what the SPOTY awards is about innit?

A few stripes and a bit of gold filigree and Wiggo could be captain of the QE2.

"is he scotch?"...is he a scotch?

Believe me, I have been to Horse Racing (Royal Ascot, ladies day) and I still find it dull dull dull. I am allowed my own opinion on this, I believe, unless the laws have changed and I wasn't informed.

well he started it! He said 'look up personality, it also means famous!

I mean Adolph was bloody famous but I think his personality left a bit to be desired!

Yep I recon Ennis after that build up.

I was walking back from the velodrome on the night that Jess won gold. Walking past the stadium was incredible, hearing the noise from it. Was a really warm evening, there were loads of people sitting on the grass watching the big screens, the atmosphere in the park as she won that gold was incredible.

So they've sat Mo Farah at the very front, yet made the woman that lost both legs walk from half a mile away to get on stage!

David Weir for me, four golds in the games was inspirational. Champagne moment though goes to Richard Whitehead 🙂 Well deserved recognition for Lord Coe too.
