To take the our attention away from the horrendous saddle angle...

You can wrap it around the tin of Carling to keep it cool for longer.

I'm more offended by the bar ends on a riser.

I'm more offended by a STWer going to Aldi!

*Disclaimer - This is a joke - We go to Aldi. For nappies and olive oil. Both are stunning value for money. Funny, though, to see all the Volvos, Mercedes etc stopping at Aldi for these items, then the same cars in the Waitrose carpark for everything else!

bike snobs alert !

Whoever's it is well done them for actually riding a bike and keeping fit and healthy rather than driving/bus etc.

So they don't scratch it when parked up at Aldi.
Must be a pretty well known local big hitter, he's not even locked it.

Yeah I just noticed that, no lock! He obviously thinks that nobody would bother to take his bso.
The open can of Carling is a nice touch.

I have no idea what's supposed to be wrong with that bike.
Is it just not expensive enough?

Is it to hide a slightly suggestive and NSFW model name? . . . both my Coves wear a bandana 😆

All the bikes in my guidebooks have lagging on the top tube.

Isn't it to cushion any bollock/top tube mishaps? I had such a thing on my Apollo Blizzard.

The black band is to show it's in mourning.

At first I thought it said Hitler on it.

maybe they have a kid that sits on the top tube hence the very odd saddle position?

Or maybe it's so they can lean it against posts and it won't slip over?

It's just a bike, might not be to everyones taste but its one less car and one less person getting pent up with rage suffering our public transport system!

Bet they've done more miles on it this week than a lot of people with bikes that cost £1000's

Its a auxiliary saddle for when the owner gives his mate a 'backie' back from signing on at the 'Jokeshop'.

So the top tube doesn't get scratched/dinged when leaning their bike against something hard/abrasive. Such as a wall? I imagine that they wish to keep their bicycle looking nice?

Well..that, and to invite sneering scorn from their betters.

What riding a bike's all about innit?

Just joking, I'm not racist, I know a guy called Jamal and he's a proper lad. I'm down with him, yah 😉

...Funny, though, to see all the Volvos, Mercedes etc stopping at Aldi for these items, then the same cars in the Waitrose carpark for everything else!

And you would know this because...? 8)

And you would know this because...?

Because the same car keys are in the bowl at the Nappy and Olive Oil parties.

To give snobs something to point and sneer at on the internet so that they can feel superior to someone else?
