If I subscribe to Spotify Premium, can it only be accessed from one device at a time?

Do I have to subscribe via a laptop or desktop?

Thank you!

i think it can only be accessed on one device at a time, or you could buy one subscription and just share it with a bunch of people. you can sign up anywhere (laptop, phone, ipad, ps3 etc)

Eh, I thought Premium allowed you to download all music to all your registered devices, thus allowing you to listen to anything from anywhere?

Yeah it can only be playing on one device at a time. As above, doesn't matter how you sign up, the same account is used for all devices.

You can download all of your purchases to any device that has an internet connection, but you don't download the music you are streaming.

Yes - only one device at a time.

If I start playing songs downloaded to my mobile it stops any music being played at home. (There are workaround to this but they aren't convenient).

You can subscribe via any source, you effectively get a username and password and you can log into spotify on any device that runs the software.

If you need 2 accounts, maybe get one Premium (at £10/month), and one Unlimited account (at £5/month). Or two unlimited if you don't need to download to mobiles.

Yes, but you can still only play music on one device at a time - unless the device with downloaded music is a) offline and b) it's been less than 30 days since you downloaded the music

You can download all of your purchases to any device that has an internet connection,
You can't purchase music via Spotify any more

If your music is downloaded it will play on multiple devices but it won't stream non-downloaded music simultaneously.

Just tired it with my tablet and phone. An album downloaded on both devices played fine at the same time on both but choosing another album and streaming it opnly worked on one, device 2 started playing the choise and device 1 paused the music it was playing.

If you have it on an iPod put it into flight mode for music that is already downloaded. It will then let you play on two devices.
