[Closed] Spotify/Alexa issue, album restarts when switching devices

So up to last week i used to do the following

If im listening to Spotify on my phone and i decide to go in to the garage i just used to just say "Alex play spotify" and the Alexa in the garage would carry on where my phone left of i.e on the same track and at the same point in that track

But it no longer does this, everytime i ask the Alexa in the garage to play Spotify it starts the whole album again from the begining rather than carrying on from the last track i played on my phone, when i check my phone the Spotify app has gone back to the first song

Ive checked my Alexa and Spotify settings and cant see anything that has changed, have also Googled the issue and any remedies ive tried have failed
