I’m going to start sports massages at the end of the year and I’m starting to put things together with a graphic designer re logos , art work, media etc

I am stuck for a name and have got it down to two:

Harbour Sports Massage (I live between two harbours)
JG Sports Massage (My initials)

I own the www domain for both of the above.

Any thoughts on which sounds better? - I’ve a logo/artwork for Harbour but I’m ‘unsure’ and wonder if it’s also worth commissioning one for JG.

Failing that any other ideas for a name? (My mates have done all the obvious ones involving happy ending etc).

Thanks.

If you can get a town or whatever name in the company name and intend to stay locla then it might help with google rank - depends how you're likely to get clients, though. If it's going to be your name then use that as the business name (not initials).

Thanks wwaswas - areas name is taken by something quite similar but the www domain is available. So a possibility.

Why the complete name rather than initials? My name is quite long / unusual and doesn’t exactly slip off the tongue.

More if you were already established and people might search by your name. If it features heavily in text on the web site though it shoudl still index well.

I guess it's 'David Lloyd Gyms' v 'DL Gyms' but if your name doesn't lend itself to that approach not a huge issue.
