So we have a load of daffodils and such popping up all over the place as though spring has sprung, then a cold snap and all of a sudden our house is full of spiders. Well 3 in the living room meaning the wife has sealed the door and told me to sort the problem.
So my question is, along with spring in December has my house been invaded by arachnids again for the second time this year?

It would most likely be male spiders out looking for a mate. They wander further away from their buddies or webs and can end up in a house. A lot of species don't like central heating as the humidity can be too low.
If either of you have problems using a cup and paper to move them outside, these spider catcher are a good option.
Remember spiders are very good at keeping other unwanted bugs away from your house too, which can cause damage.

Cheers Roper. I am OK with them so they have been rehomed. Won't bother telling her that they are lonely and want to make baby spiders!
