The wife has used them for years but have cancelled her scheme as she missed an appointment which they made for her even though it was cancelled.

So, she uses the monthly contacts and pays £15/mth which includes eye tests but i believe there are a lot cheaper ways of doing it as the lenses cost about 1p to manufacture so what do you use as an alternative to them?

When I used contacts a few years ago I got them from Asda online. Just google and see what comes up.

I use http://daysoftcontactlenses.com/ £12.50 for 32 pairs of daily disposables , it did used to be under a tenner till they closed the channel island taxation loophole.

As long as you keep up to having a checkup every 2 years (mainly to check on eye health as well as precription change) it's fine.

I've been using tthem for the last 3-4 years with no problems.
