Very roughly, how much to install a ring main and 6 double sockets?

😉
If it were me I'd prefer them to do the job less roughly and nice and neat.
Very much depends on time taken to install sockets and chase cables. The more predictable bit will be wiring, testing and issuing certs which is prob half a day. So 250-500+ depending on install complexity.
And then it will depend if your consumer unit (fuse board) is RCD protected, as if not may be impossible to install new circuit without first upgrading or providing separate protection.
IANAS - but I do commission lots of electrical work
Anywhere from a couple of hundred to a grand.
Is it from a spare way and surface mounted around a garage? or into a full to capacity DB with existing faults, chased into solid walls around 4 rooms via your shed.
Think you need to define the spec.

I saved a fortune by fitting the ring main myself and getting the sparks to connect it all up and certificate it.
Ask Chippy for Brads number.
A ring main, then it'll be in the tens of thousands, but you really meant a ring final circuit.
Why a ring?
Just a few sockets would be better on a radial circuit.
Does it involve chasing walls, floorboards up and making good?
Have you got a spare way on your consumer unit?
How difficult is it to get the cable(s) to the CU?
As said above, anything from £200 to £1000.

I put in 4 double sockets in my bike room about a year ago. Broke into an existing ring. Hard work it was took me the best part of a day. Crawling under the floor then pushing the cables up, chasing out the wall etc.
I must be soft after working in an office for too many years.
