Bulb in the shed has gone and when replaced won't illuminate. Nothing tripped on the CU but there's is an old prento fuse box between the light and CU. Could the fuse have gone without tripping the CU? If so what wire do I get for a circuit with three light fixings?

Probably 6 amp circuit breaker at CU and 5 amp fuse wire at old box. Have a look, see if it's blown and if so put 5a fuse wire in.

Just lights?

No 13A sockets?

Has the original bulb blown? Wired fuses are notoriously slow to blow so if you haven't already I'd be tripping and resetting everything in the CU
For three light fittings the smaller the better; 3A continuous should be more than enough
