Hi all,

I'm bored and missing Spain.

Can you post some pictures your bike/hike/outdoor adventures in the Iberian Peninsular?

Here are some to get us going...

Above and below were from Mallorca.

These are mostly from Andauclia in the South of Spain.

We've walked a couple of thousand kms in Spain over the last ten years. No pics because Google is ful of them. But a map of the area we like most:

Highly recommend Menorca.

Last year I paddled the north coast it in an inflatable kayak.

Fancy going back to hike around the island.

Mallorca is a great place too.

Go on then some pics:

Getting around in Spain means busses to us, often at night with regular stops in bus stations. Here a pit stop for a tyre change

We prefer walking to cycling in Spain, here near Laxe - pronounced "laché" in French or "la shay" in English

Wild camping is not allowed in Spain but lying down and going to sleep without any kind of shelter is:

Same place the following morning

with the coastline we'd walked the previous days in the background

Some shots from near me, in La Pedriza in Madrid

And some gratuitous photos of my dog and cats, also in Spain:

'Wild camping is not allowed in Spain but lying down and going to sleep without any kind of shelter is'

Technically true but if you are off the tourist trail, then out of sight = out of mind.

@Edukator - is that the walk around the headland near Laxe? La ruta de los faros or something? We did a walk there last summer with the two kids, though it was harder and hotter than we had planned so we cut it short, went back to Laxe and had razor clams and Albarino.

It's a beautiful place. We're in Galicia again this summer so might visit again.

Currently here visiting a mate and went on an ebike ride in the hills above Algorfa/Benejuzar in southern Spain.

This is the holiday that has finally convinced my wife we should give Spain a shot so we're now starting to look at houses 😁
