Nokia 6 2018 is £160 for 32gb/3gb ram and on Android One, currently an OK mid ranger.
Pixel 1 2016 is £195 for 128gb/4gb ram, water resistant and 'pure' Android.
Moto X4 is £180 for 32gb/3gb ram, properly waterproof and Android One.
Older Pixel, vs waterproof vs newer hardware and software...?
For you?
Waterproof .....so the Moto X4
without consulting he oracle (STW) i bought a moto G6 last week.
dont do that.
Happy with my x4.
Latest android is nice, best bit being remembering passwords in apps as well as websites.
i bought a moto G6 last week
My shiny new work issued G6 arrived today.
Frustratingly I can't use work phone for any personal...hence question here.
I bought the Nokia a couple of weeks ago. Can't fault it (other than I thought it was dual SIM and it's not). And it's 20 quid cheaper now than when I bought it.
I bought a Nokia 6.1 a month or two back when it was a lot more than £160! It’s alright, but it’s ****ing android though (spit).
every morning I have to reset the ringtone though as it defaults to the Nokia tune... that’s really annoying...
i want my old windows Lumia back except new and supported (obvs) 😭
I've got an X4, really happy with it so far. Had it a few months now.
Wifey bought a Moto 6 on the Amazon prime day this week for £199, seems like a nice phone. I've got a Nokia 8 and it keeps dropping wifi connections BING, pick up the connection BING, drop the connection BING and so on. Seems to be a common problem and Nokia aren't interested.
No idea what the Nokia and Motorola are like but I've had the pixel 1 (not XL) since launch and it's been awesome, regular updates and the camera ain't half bad, the processor (Snapdragon 821?) might be getting long in the tooth now but I find the performance absolutely fine 🙂
The pixel 1 was a premium hand set. Neither of the others are. I'd wager the pixel 1 is still more powerful. If that's a new price I'd be tempted by that.
I've a g6 plus which seems good so far.
Mrs SMA has juts got a G6 - which she is very happy with. Ended up with dual SIM one - perhaps one day we will find a use for the second SIM!

Shame it's not the dual sim version.
.
Just got a Nokia 7 plus. Ebay seller. Brand new, but open box with one years warranty for £265. Factory packaging intact on phone and accessories so all good. Came from 3 windows phones prior to this and really chuffed with it. Ability to control my music just by talking to it is a revelation after shonky cortana .
@ matt_outandabout
Where have you seen the Nokia 6 2018 for £160? was it SIM free.
Looking at this to replace an ageing Nexus 5
Cheers
Deal is laptopsdirect for Nokia 6 or X4, both box open but grade A.
Tobydeals doing Nokia 6 and Pixel.
Don't forget to Quidco...
@ matt_outandabout
Nice one, bookmarked a couple for later

The Nokia 6 2018 (aka Nokia 6.1) is a Carphone Warehouse exclusive in the UK. If you've seen it elsewhere it's almost certainly the original Nokia 6 (and doubly so at that price).
@ Cougar
Not disputing what you say, all of the Carphone Warehouse versions are the 3/32gb. It may be that this particular version is exclusive.
Following a look on Tobydeals I've found a 4/64gb for £164.89 model No TA-1068, appears to be a dual SIM EU spec.Nokia 6 (2018) (AKA 6.1)
Its got the 800MHz 4G band for Tesco mobile so shouldn't be a problem
I'm not quite ready to buy just yet, so prices will change anyway.
Tobydeals are based in Hong Kong. So they may be selling models which haven't been released in the UK
