I’ve just ‘upgraded’ to a 6s.

My previous  phone had an otterbox case and I want something similar for this one.

I’m not after full waterproofing but something that will protect it when it’s in rucksacks, pockets etc.

There are lots of options out there in the £20-30 range, what’s good?

Thanks

I have a Thule one I bought 2nd hand off Ebay. Been excellent, handles dropping phone very well.

This one I think: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thule-Unisexs-Atmos-iPhone-Shadow/dp/B01K4B9IKW/ref=asc_df_B01K4B9IKW/

Generally been pretty happy with Otterboxes - My 4S fell out of my jersey pocket at just over 40mph on the roadie and survived with just a scuff or 2 to the case.

Although - my other half discovered, they don't do a lot if you manage to drop your phone down the hole of a Turdis and then leave it there until they come round with the big sucky hose. She did get the phone back, but....!

For the last 10 years my iPhones have been stored in a clear, plastic pencil case. It stops the majority of the water and offers some protection too. Yours for £3.

I had my 6+ in an Otterbox, I got fed up with its bulkiness and put the phone in a cheap clear silicone case with a glass screen protector. It’s survived being dropped just as well.
It’s now five years old, the battery is down to 75% capacity, and it won’t handle iOS13, so it’s time for an upgrade, as the current phones are reasonably water resistant, all I care about is drop protection, so I’ll probably get a Pelican case; I have one of their sports wallets, and it’s very tough, they make camera, computer and gun cases, and their phone cases should be more than adequate.
Something like this one, but they do others:

I’ve just renewed my i7 case with one from Lanhiem, which is strikingly similar to the previous case which was one from Owkey which lasted about 14months before the screen protector became so scratched and scuffed from being kept every day in a holster pocket in work shorts/trousers, that it was getting tiresome reading small text n stuff.

Both are under £20, both are extremely dust proof, water resistant and very drop proof. I am habitually in all 3 environments and having just removed the phone from one to the other, it is still like new.

I have an old life proof case that’ll fit an iPhone 6. It was great, kept the phone in a1 condition, waterproof etc. Not too bulky. Not cheap though. I’ve got the same case for my 8.

Was gonna bosh it on eBay. Yours for a donation to one of the worthy causes on here if you mail me a stamped addressed Jiffy bag.

Decathlon do a cheap basic plastic sleeve case that is waterproof (roll-over and velcro).
