Right I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as I do.

Whenever I sync my "iPhone" I seem to get the same songs staying on my playlist, Is there a way of changing the playlist apart from clicking on the songs I want.

If so let me know as I'm fed up with my playlist.

Are you actually telling Itunes to sync something else with your phone?

How do you have it setup as far as audio syncing goes? Just sync what's ticked until it's full or are you selecting playlists?

Create a Smart Playlist. You decide on the Smart parameters and whenever you sync it should change the songs.

For example - I've created a Smart playlist which includes songs that haven't been played in the last 6 months. When I listen it to this playlist, the song then is recently played and when I next sync the playlist is updated.

You can create Smart with numerous parameters. Ie artist, year, least often played, genre, etc etc etc

Trying to understand what you mean, but I think I know. Are you clearing all the songs out of the playlist in iTunes once you have them on the phone? You should be deleting all the tracks, then selecting a whole bunch of new ones, so that when you sync the phone, having set up to sync with 'iPhone playlist', it should automatically delete the current list on the phone and replace with the new one. That's my understanding, anyway; I just keep adding songs to my phone that I particularly like, and also add them to my iPhone playlist, so if I have to reset the phone, I can restore my favourite songs to it.
That might sound odd, but I have a 160Gb iPod with 144Gb of music on it, 14,725 songs, so I only have a small list of favourites on the phone, about 3000 songs.
[edit] or do the proper thing and set up a smart playlist... (Doh).
