How do I post / link to a photo one got stored in Google photos? I just came seem to make it work.
You can share a link to a shared album of photos, but I don't think you can hotlink i.e display a photo directly on this forum.
I download it to my device and then upload to imgbb.com which then gives you the BB code to paste into this forum.

I usually get a tinyurl.com link from the google photo url and paste that as an image. Looks like the labnol link will reduce that faff. cool
