My Dad, at 82 years has decided it's time to sell his beloved VW Camper.
It's a T25 air cooled model that he bought new in 1982, now done about 40K miles and really is properly immaculate.
I know there's a few enthusiasts on here, thoughts welcome as well as suggestions for good places to look ourselves (EBay is unlikely btw).

1982 will be an air cooled model. Probably 1.9ltr.
What's company's conversion is the camper (autosleeper, danbury etc)

Also is it a high top or raising roof?
Lastly what's the bodywork like and how much rust underneath?

If its a professional conversion that's been well looked after and garaged then £8 to £10 thousand.

It's a 1982 T25, 2 litre air cooled engine.
Been looked after pretty fastidiously, under sealed from new and certainly no rust visible around the arches or sills. Can't honestly speak for underneath as I haven't seen down there. It's been kept in a garage for most of its life.
The roof is a lifting type, seems to operate ok but that bit wasn't used a lot in recent years.

I'd a thought anything upwards of £8000 if its really that good. Splits and bays are going for such silly money that there's now a market for t25's . Go to volkszone.com the singletrack equivalent for all things vw.

I'd second Club 80-90 and add the forum on Justkampers website - bought and sold my bay window on there, people were friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

Just had a proper (less bleary..) look at this - streuth! £10K? Really?I think he was hoping for maybe £6k or so, £10K would be pretty good!
I'll take some decent detailed photos and have a closer look at those sites - thanks all for your help.
