Hi all. I have a pair of these earbuds and now have a problem with one of them. The left bud has a red flashing light when it's in the case and doesn't seem to be charging at all. Can't do a factory reset on it and I'm not sure what the flashing red light even means? Does anyone have these or the more pimpy version and have any idea what's going on?
Thanks but I've read all that and still no good. Take the right bud out of the case and it tells you the battery is fully charged but take the left one one out and there's nothing. This means they won't connect to the phone. So annoying. Bought brand new from ebay a couple of months ago. I swear I'm jinxed with anything electrical🙁.
It's probably not charging. I've had a few pairs of Sony wireless buds, most of them still going, but occasionally run into issues with them charging. So first read this and see if sheds any light. Red light generally indicates power/charging issue.

Firstly make sure the case is charged. If they are anything like the two pairs I have, the contacts on the ear buds might become dirty. Clean them with IPA, and give them a scratch with something metal to remove any surface oxidation/shite. Then do the same to the pins in the case. If you have spring loaded contact pins in the case then check they are returning to height - you should have 3 and they should all be the same height. If not, grab the one that's stuck down with tweezers and work it till it returns freely.
