Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Or more to the point O'Dear, O'Dear, O'Dear.
Terrible and I quite enjoyed the first two seasons. The whole Oirish angle is utterly lame. Also, are they never out of that hospital?
To all intents it's a medical drama with occasional outdoors scenes.
Season three did get a bit far fetched.. but the final episode is a blinder and season 4 is back on track with some very good stories.
Edit: actually some fantastic stories (but I wont ruin it for you 😉
Force your way through the Oirish accents. It's tough, but it's worth it for season 4.
Watched it last night, they do seem to have lost the plot a bit....it does have a strange charm though.
it was silly but still enjoyable for me
you wanna see a dreadful irish hijacking of a show
i give you the Oz plotline with the IRA!
I loved the bit where the guy in the Belfast charter with the cockney accent suggests that the PSNI would most likely shoot them and leave their corpses by the side of the road. On a par with the bit in OZ where the PIRA inmate explains that if he's extradited to Britain they'll hang him without a trial (what, in 2001?). Also, the interior of the house they stayed in was straight out of Angela's Ashes.
Lol! I guess Kimbers noted the OZ thing too.
