Anyone use their clothes?

It's not particularly cheap, just wondering what the quality is like. Their stuff/look is quite 'me'

I’ve bought things in the sale occasionally. Pair of jeans, waistcoat and a couple of tops. All really good quality and still going strong after a couple of years. I wouldn’t buy at full price though.

Yes, I’ve got several of their shirts and a couple of their jackets, including the Ryder jacket you’ve linked in the photo. Really good quality well made clothes that fit nicely. Oldest item I’ve got is one of the Sunday shirts which is a couple of years old and still in really good nick after some heavy use. As above, not cheap but the clothes feel like they will last years (the pea coat I’ve got will likely outlast me). Use the FIRST20 discount code to get 20% off (cough - I suspect if you use a different email address each time, you can use the same code on every order - cough)

Reminds me of Filson clothes. Expensive US work wear style but for urban trendies

The shop is down the road from me in Cheltenham, just out of the centre of town.  I love the way the shop looks and every so often go over there for a browse but it's a bit pricey, so I haven't yet invested.  Similar pricing to Hebtroco but without the commitment to UK manufacturing (at least I can't see any).

Not much cheaper than the American brands they're ripping off. A bit like Passenger/Patagonia.

Looks nice but expensive but I guess you have to pay for quality.

It's the sort of look I'd like to have but not sure I'm willing to splash the dosh!

Wonder if anyone can recommend cheaper places for this 'style'?

A lot of it is just layering. Plenty of places will sell white grandad t-shirts and faded denim shirts.

Find a knitted beanie that suits you. Some heavy denim jeans, turn-ups optional or khaki pants, then you're just looking for a military/army surplus style shirt, or a field jacket etc

Chuck a nice pair of boots in the mix and some checked shirts and you've probably got half of the outfits on there. Not sure of specific places to get the exact jacket styles etc, but there'll be plenty of not quite city/town centre shops that sell things along those lines. Think Sadler Gate if you know Derby, Devonshire Street maybe, or Ecclesall Road in Sheffield etc, but all likely to be just as if not more pricey

If you know what brands you are looking for Vinted is a good bet.

Otherwise keeping an eye out at sales time.  Also don’t forget TK Maxx, it’s usually full of rubbish but over the past year they’ve periodically had quite a bit of Folk clothing in (look it up).  Shirts, trousers, shackets usually at 25-30% of rrp.

I got a Folk shacket and a couple of Common People ones too for not much ££ from TK Maxx last year.

Not quite in the style of anything on &Sons but veering in that direction

All really good quality and still going strong after a couple of years.

At those prices I should bloody well hope so! £160 for an olive drab army-style field shirt - you could find a genuine army field shirt for half that, their check flannel shirts - Uniqlo do a whole load of them in different weights for £35, I’ve got a whole bunch of them, from quite a light weight ideal for summer, to quite thick ones ideal for layering for the same price, and going strong after at least ten years.
I have tee shirts from gigs still perfectly wearable dating back to the 80’s and 90’s, like my Massive Attack ‘Mezzanine’ tour tee from 1998, which I’m currently wearing. And it still fits.

I buy something of that sort of price, I want twenty years wear out of it, not two!

The quality is very good. Similar to HebTroCo stuff. I’ve had £35 flannel shirts and they aren’t competing on build quality and fit. Genuinely intrigued as to how you’ve managed to get cheap tour T-shirts to last that long unless you’re wearing once in a blue moon.

Nailed it. The 'look' is just layering with diff colours and textures - don't forget a pointless hat. I prefer to mix lighter technical clothing with cheap vintage jeans these days. Best of both worlds.

Nothing pointless about a beanie in winter when you're a baldie 👍

Nothing pointless about a hat any time of year if you’re bald!

Just had a look at HebTroCo and it left me feeling a bit cold tbh.

A lot of it looks like it's trying a bit too hard to be hipster

Had a look there too and it doesn't grab me. Nothing offensive to look at, but nothing that looks particularly stylish either imo

P&Co is another almost similar brand. Has a bit more about them on the sustainability front islf that's a selling point youre interested in.
