I'm a technophobe, but tried to assist my wife set up Sonos system last night.

Radio selection working fine from her iPhone, but iTunes music library cannot be accessed if we switch our PC off.

Is this expected?

If the files are on the PC then yes it will have to be switched on, best store your music on a NAS to avoid this.

Yes. It relies on the computer serving the music to it, if the music isn't being served it can't play it. They're designed for people who have a NAS or similar server that runs 24/7 really.

Looking at it myself and was recommended to put all the music on NAS for that reason. (Hard disc with a network plug)
