Sorry to ask here but having no luck using search engines. All of our internet radios no longer work for the beeb so trying to find another device. Sonos looks like a nice option that's likely to be around for a while but I'd love to be able to start stop it using one of the buttons rather than open a phone and start an app each time. Does anyone here with a Sonos know if that is possible? I realise that I could use voice control as well but I was thinking of getting the version without the microphone as I'm not that comfortable having listening devices on all the time in my house or at least reducing the number. Of course I would need to use the app to change the station, but once it's on a station does the start/stop button just start and stop it or do I need to restart it from the app each time?

Yes, if you leave the speaker connected to live radio then the start stop button turns it on and off

Yep as above. Pressing play will just re-start whatever you were listening to last on that device.
Yep. I have it on then hit the button which is quicker than fumbling through the app if I get a call in my home office.
